DAVE CANN, MOORLAND STUDIOS: METAL ARTISAN
Constance K. Bassett and David Cann incorporated Moorland Studios in 1987. As conservation professionals, Constance and David have 40 years of combined experience in conserving, designing, and building with metal.

Here they are shown next to the colossal bronze statue of William Penn atop Philadelphia’s City Hall. The city entrusted the conservation of this landmark to Moorland Studios in 1987 and Moorland continues to maintain the statue.

Working with White Dog Studios

"Working with Michael is great for a craftsman who has invested years in learning a craft. Michael comes to you with an idea some sketches a couple photos for discussion and say, can we do something like this. His energy is inspiring. The bonus as an artist is that he leaves it in your hands to bring your expertise and creativity to the project.

Michael also has a very good knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods. We do not have to spend time educating - we can get right to the essence on the project.

We would like to work with White Dog Studios more often."
